1. Acceptance of terms.
By creating an account or using CallRemind.my ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service.
CallRemind lets you trigger automated voice reminder calls to contacts you provide, at a flat rate of RM0.20 per minute. The Service is provided "as is" and we may update features, pricing, or availability at any time with notice.
3. Permitted use — no spam, no abuse.
You may use the Service only for legitimate reminder purposes (appointments, payments, deliveries, routine notices) where you have a lawful basis to call. You agree not to:
- Engage in spam blasting, bulk unsolicited marketing, or robocalling for promotion without consent;
- Harass, threaten, deceive, or defraud any person;
- Call numbers you have no permission or lawful basis to contact;
- Upload fabricated, stolen, or illegally obtained contact data;
- Resell or white-label the Service in breach of your plan.
We monitor for abuse and may suspend or terminate any account that breaches this section, without refund where misconduct occurs.
4. Call timing & MCMC compliance.
You are responsible for ensuring every call complies with Malaysian law and MCMC guidance:
- Default courtesy window is 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM Malaysian time; set stricter windows per campaign where appropriate.
- For debt, collections, or sensitive matters, follow any sector-specific timing and conduct rules. We provide scheduling controls but the compliance obligation is yours.
- Honour opt-outs and do-not-call requests using the per-contact suppression feature.
5. Your data & responsibilities.
You remain the data controller for the contacts you upload. You must have a lawful basis (consent or legitimate interest under the PDPA 2010) to call each contact. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not keep or retain your data for processing — we process it only to complete the call you instruct.
6. Pricing & payment.
Usage is billed at RM0.20 per minute of connected call time, flat. New accounts receive 5 free credits. Paid plans are billed per your selected plan. Charges for completed calls are final; we may refund at our discretion for verified technical failures.
7. Limitation of liability.
The Service depends on telecom networks and third-party carriers. We do not guarantee delivery, and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from non-delivery, misconnection, or your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding month.
8. Suspension & termination.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or suspected spam. You may close your account at any time; upon closure we delete your associated data per the Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
